Becky's Haven is proud to partner with Mayameen Meftahi BEM, bringing the Beyond Trauma™ programme to survivors of Childhood Sexual Exploitation and Domestic Violence.

Introducing the 7-Week Trauma Recovery Programme™, crafted by Mayameen Meftahi. This psychoeducational intervention is transformational for individuals diagnosed with or experiencing symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) arising from childhood sexual abuse/exploitation or domestic abuse. Participants will gain crucial skills to navigate the impact of trauma, regulate emotions, and understand trauma responses within the framework of the PTSD triangle. The program embraces a holistic approach to healing, integrating various activities that blend education, therapy, and supportive interventions.

Importantly, there's no need to delve into traumatic events to begin the healing journey. Unfolding over seven weeks, this structured 'course' guides participants through practical, trauma-focused modules, offering a comprehensive path from start to finish. Take the courageous step towards healing – your transformative journey begins here.

Who is Mayameen Meftahi BEM?

In 2020, she was honored with the prestigious British Empire Medal (BEM) for her unwavering commitment to child victims. Currently serving as a Senior Legal Advocacy Caseworker at the Maggie Oliver Foundation, she passionately fulfills her mission to support and advocate for survivors. With over a decade of experience in the realm of sexual violence, she has worked as a Trauma Specialist, Educator, and Accredited Trainer.

Her passion is deeply rooted in her personal journey as a survivor of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). Capturing national attention in September 2018, she courageously abandoned her lifelong anonymity, shedding light on the serial sexual abuse perpetrated by her father, who was released from prison after serving just six years of a ten-year sentence.

Utilising her survivor voice, she has successfully influenced policy changes and spurred improvements in fragmented services to enhance victim protection. Alongside these endeavors, she has pioneered her own 7-week program called Beyond Trauma™, furthering her commitment to empowering survivors and fostering healing. She proudly graced the TEDx stage, participated in numerous speaker engagements, joined panels, and shared her poignant firsthand account of surviving Child Sexual Abuse in a Channel 5 Documentary.

Emerge with a renewed sense of strength, resilience, and empowerment, equipped with the tools and support needed to embark on your continued journey of healing and growth.

Accredited Certificate of Completion

To honour and recognise the Journey of rising BeyondTrauma™ and creating a life that exceeds all expectations, you will upon completion of the programme receive your Certificate of Completion attached with 15 Continuing Professional Development points, as part of the programme being nationally Accredited by the CPD Group.
